A method and a device for producing and placing a spacer sheet of the thin partition type between objects in a group of juxtaposed objects to be packaged, and a packaging method using such a spacer sheet. The device comprises means (13) for feeding sections (7) of strip; means for driving the section (7) of strip; means for transverse deformation of the section (7) of strip; means (9) for supporting a group of juxtaposed objects (4), wherein the deformation means comprise templates or the objects (3) themselves which can move between an initial position in which they are spaced from one another and a final position in which they are in the configuration of the objects (3) to be packaged. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour la réalisation et la mise en place d'un intercalaire de séparation de type à cloison mince interposé entre les objets d'un groupe d'objets juxtaposés à emballer ainsi qu'un procédé d'emballage utilisant un tel intercalaire. Le dispositif comporte des moyens d'alimentation (13) en tronçons (7) de bande ; des moyens d'entraînement du tronçon (7) de bande; des moyens de déformation transversale du tronçon (7) de bande ; des moyens support (9) d'un groupe d'objets (4) juxtaposés, caractérisé par le fait que les moyens de déformation comprennent des gabarits ou les objets (3) eux-mêmes mobiles entre une position initiale où ils sont écartés les uns des autres et une position finale où ils sont dans la configuration des objets (3) à emballer.
