Das wärmetechnische Gerät dient zur Erzeugung von Heizungs- und/oder Brauchwasser und besteht aus einem Gehäusemantel (6), in dessen Innenraum mindestens ein zylindrischer, metallischer Behälter, allseitig von wärmeisolierendem Kunststoff (1) umschäumt, angeordnet ist. Im verschäumten, zwischen Gehäusemantel (6) und Behälter (2) befindlichen Kunststoff (1) ist mindestens ein sich längs zum zylindrischen Behälter (2) und über dessen ganze Länge erstreckender Kanal (3) angeordnet, dessen Wandungen (4) sich zur Ausmündung (5) des Kanals (3) hin divergierend erstrecken.
