Fitting for an at least pivoting door, window or the like (1) which is held by at least one opening arm (2) on a fixed frame, the opening arm being mounted at least pivotably at both ends and being locked at least in the pivoted position by means of a retaining device (9), an auxiliary arm (10) being rotatably mounted on the opening arm (2) in order to form the retaining device (9), the end, of the auxiliary arm (10), at the door end being rotatably mounted in a sliding part (11) which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of its associated window or door spar (12) thereon, in addition the geometrical axes, at the door or window end, of the pivot bearings (6, 14) of opening arm (2) and auxiliary arm (10) forming a triangle with the geometric axes of the connecting bearings (15) of both arms (2, 10) when the door or window (1) is pivoted, characterised in that the opening arm or arms (2) is/are associated with the upper end of door or window (1) and fixed frame ; in that, in addition, the geometric axes of the two pivot bearings (6, 14) of opening arm (2) and auxiliary arm (10) at the door or window end, and the geometric axes of the connecting bearing (15) of these arms (2, 10) form a triangle in the closed position of the door or window (1) and lie in a pivoting intermediate position, which is in particular small, in a common plane, spring force (13) against which the sliding part (11) can be displaced decreasing as the distance between the pivot bearings (6, 14) at the door or window end and the opening arm (2) and auxiliary arm (10) increases.

Um einen wenigstens kippbaren Flügel (1) eines Fensters, einer Tür od. dgl., der mittels mindestens eines oberen Ausstellarmes (2) an seinem oberen Ende an einem festen Rahmen abgestützt ist, rüttelfest zu halten, was man mit Hilfe einer Halteeinrichtung (9) erreichen kann, versieht man den bzw. wenigstens einen Ausstellarm (2) mit einem drehbar an ihm gelagerten Hilfsarm (10). Dessen freies Ende ist mittels eines Lagers (14) drehbar an einem Schiebestück (11) gelagert. Letzteres ist über eine Schraubendruckfeder (13) oder eine in gleicher Weise wirksame Federkraft am Flügel (1) abgestützt. Die Abstützung erfolgt insbesondere am oberen Flügel-Querholm (12) und zwar zur vorteilhaften Einstellung der Federkraft indirekt über ein verschieb- und feststellbares Druckstück (19). Eine Anzeigevorrichtung (33) ermöglicht ein Ablesen des eingestellten Federkraftwertes. Beim Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Hilfsarm verhältnismäßig kurz gehalten, d.h. das Verbindungslager (15) von Ausstellarm (2) und Hilfsarm (10) ist bei gekipptem Flügel dem oberen Flügel-Querholm (12) zugeordnet. Die geometrischen Achsen der Drehachsen (6, 14 und 15) bilden ein Dreieck. Dabei liegt das Verbindungslager (15) von Ausstellarm und Hilfsarm bei geschlossenem Flügel diesseits und vorzugsweise ab einer geringen Kipp-Öffnungsstellung jenseits einer Wirkungslinie (16) der Federkraft. Letztere übt deshalb bei geschlossenem Flügel ein Schließ-Drehmoment (18) und bei gekipptem Flügel ein Halte-Drehmoment (17) auf den Ausstellarm (2) aus.
