Abstract (en)
Method for degreasing articles in a solvent in a closed space which contains a mixture of air and saturated solvent vapour. The degreasing operation is conducted at a temperature lower than the normal boiling point of the solvent. The apparatus comprises a solvent storage room (5), heating means (6) to evaporate the solvent, a degreasing chamber (2), a closable duct (7) between the evaporator and the degreasing chamber, and means (8) to discharge the vapour-air mixture after the degreasing process.
