[origin: US4887626A] A device for securing the edge of a stretched sheet, applicable more particularly to securing the lower edge of a tent canvas of a light shelter of a general pyramidal shape, has a horizontal extruded section with a groove opening, in one of its vertical faces, through an inlet slit of a width less than that of the bottom of the groove. A locking rod is able to be engaged transversally in the groove, through its inlet slit, and to be immobilized therein so as to retain the edge of the sheet having a bead. The locking rod, in the locked position, is in a vertical position at right angles with respect to its position of insertion in the groove and it is jammed against the lower lip by a lower rounded part, joining together the internal and external faces of the rod, so that a tractive force exerted outwardly on the sheet does not allow the bead to escape from the groove.

Un dispositif de fixation du bord d'une nappe tendue, applicable notamment à la fixation du bord inférieur d'une toile de tente d'un abri léger de forme générale pyramidale, comporte un profilé (1) ayant une gorge (2) délimitée par deux lèvres (7,8) de largeurs différentes, cette gorge recevant un bourrelet (3) formant la bordure de la nappe (4) et un jonc de verrouillage (6). Pour améliorer la résistance à l'arrachement le jonc de verrouilage (6) est, en position de verrouillage, en position verticale, à angle droit par rapport à sa position d'introduction dans la gorge (2), et il est coincé contre la lèvre inférieure (8) par une partie inférieure arrondie (6e), raccordant les faces interne (6d) et externe (6a) du jonc, de sorte qu'un effort de traction exercé vers l'extérieur, sur la nappe (4), ne permette pas au bourrelet (3) de s'échapper de la gorge (2).
