Anti-theft wrapping for a magnetic recording medium of the type in which the surfaces of the recording medium (1) are protected by a first (4) and a second (5) surface of the wrapping. An anti-theft plate (11) and its stud (12) are placed on either side of the wrapping, on the second (5) and first (4) surfaces respectively, the shaft (13) of the stud passing through the surfaces (4,5) of the wrapping, and the through hole (2) in the recording medium (1). <IMAGE>
