Der Bewehrungsstab besteht aus zwei parallelen Drähten (1, 2) die einstückig durch eine Stegwand (3) miteinander verbunden sind. In der Stegwand (3) sind äquidistant angeordnete Durchgangslöcher (4) vorhanden. Solche Bewehrungsstäbe haben im Vergleich zu einfachen Bewehrungsdrähten bei gleichem Widerstandsmoment ein um annähernd 50% geringeres Metergewicht.
