1. A protective wrapping for sinks with a rear projecting splash panel, especially for the protection of the sinks during storage and transport, characterised by a cardboard blank (1), which in plan view comprises a rectangular base portion (4) corresponding approximately to the width of the splash panel (5) and exceeding the height of the sink pan (8) and the splash panel, with two pairs of oppositely located straps (2 and 3) projecting at the corners transversely to the long sides, of which the upper straps (3) are foldable about the outer wall surface (7) of the sink pan in the manner of a collar along fold lines (3a, 3b) and the straps (2) of the other end can be folded back along fold lines (2a) on the base portion, together with the associated part (14) of this base portion on to the remaining part (15) of the base portion to form a pocket for the splash panel.

Die Schutzumhüllung für Ausgußbecken (1) mit rückwärtig aufragender Spritzwand (5) ist aus einem Pappzuschnitt gefaltet, welcher in der Draufsicht aus einem rechteckförmigen, etwa der Breite der Spritzwand (5) entsprechenden und die Höhe der Beckenmulde (8) und der Spritzwand übersteigenden Basisabschnitt (4) mit gegenüberliegend an den Ecken quer zu den Längsseiten vorspringenden Laschen (2 bzw. 3) besteht. Die Laschen (3) sind zurückfaltbar.
