[origin: US4765503A] In a refuse bin comprising a body portion and a hinged lid the body portion is provided on its front wall opposite the lid hinges with a receiving pocket for the engagement of a gripper of a lift-tip apparatus and the rear wall of the receiving pocket extends outwardly wedge-like in inclined manner or rounded in dome-manner, the receiving pocket consisting of at least two wall portions which extend approximately parallel to each other and which are connected together by struts.

Bei einem Müllbehälter (1) mit einem Rumpfteil (4) und einem Klappdeckel (5) ist der Rumpfteil auf seiner den Deckelscharnieren gegenüberliegenden Vorderwand mit einer Aufnahmetasche (11) zum Eingriff eines Greifers einer Hub-Kippvorrichtung versehen und verläuft die Rückwand der Aufnahmetasche keilförmig schräg oder kalottenartig abgerundet nach außen, wobei die Aufnahmetasche aus mindestens zwei annähernd parallel zueinander verlaufenden Wandabschnitten gebildet ist, welche durch Verstrebungen miteinander verbunden sind.
