Bulletproof door element, the door leaf 1 of which consists partially of multi-layer wood which is formed from numerous thin hardwood veneers glued with fibre directions running crosswise, in which the multi-layer wood forms a central shell 2 which is connected on both sides to side shells 2, 3 made of thicker veneers which are bonded crosswise. The side shells 2, 3 are in each case at least a third as thick as the central shell 1. Advantageously, at least the vertical edge regions of the door leaf consist of edge bands 6 made of multi-layer wood, and at least half the frame 23 with covering 22 and decorative covering 24. <IMAGE>

Durchschußfestes Türelement, dessen Türblatt 1 teilweise aus Vielschichtholz besteht, das aus zahlreichen dünnen, mit kreuzweise verlaufenden Faserrichtungen verklebten Hartholzfurnieren gebildet ist, bei welchem das Vielschichtholz eine Mittelschale 2 bildet, die beiderseits mit Seitenschalen 2,3 aus dickeren, kreuzweise verleimten Furnieren verbunden ist. Die Seitenschalen 2,3 haben jeweils mindestens ein Drittel der Dicke der Mittelschale 1. Vorteilhaft bestehen mindestens die lotrecht verlaufenden Randbereiche des Türblatts aus Anleimern 6 aus Vielschichtholz, wie auch mindestens eine Hälfte der Zarge 23 mit Bekleidung 22 und Zierbekleidung 24.
