Sheet metal sections are deep-drawn by means of a die, a drawing core, a holding-down tool which surrounds the drawing core like a ring and is mounted to be axially movable and bears against the die when the die and drawing core are relatively moved towards one another by means of a press ram, and a back pressure device which acts at the holding-down tool and generates a reaction force at the holding-down tool based on the thrust force of the die during the holding-down movement, the holding-down tool and the drawing core being provided with action surfaces which are actively connected via a communicating system containing an incompressible medium.

Werkzeug zum Tiefziehen von Blechteilen, mit einer Matrize, einem Ziehkern, einem den Ziehkern ringförmig umgebenden Niederhalter, der axial beweglich gelagert ist und gegen den sich die Matrize anlegt, wenn Matrize und Ziehkern mit Hilfe eines Stößels einer Presse relativ aufeinander zu bewegt werden, und einer am Niederhalter wirkenden Gegendruckvorrichtung, die bei der Bewegung des Niederhaltens aufgrund der Druckkraft der Matrize eine Gegenkraft am Niederhalter erzeugt, wobei der Niederhalter und der Ziehkern mit Wirkflächen versehen sind, die über ein ein imkompressibles Medium enthaltendes kommunizierendes System in Wirkverbindung stehen.
