[origin: EP0278067A1] There is a panel in which a carrier plate (2) and a backing plate (1) are combined and in which detachable connecting devices (16, 19) are provided in the corner areas only for connecting the carrier plate (2) and the backing plate (1). In this context it is wished to make the fixed connections in the corner areas of outwardly concealed design without the use of screws. This is achieved in that each connecting device is formed from a sleeve (16) and a spigot (19) firmly wedged therein, which form an integral part of the carrier plate (2) on the one hand and the backing plate (1) on the other.
