In a short-inking device with at least one transfer roll designed as a screen printing roll (3), a compact form of construction together with a reliable and precise inking operation is achieved by the provision of at least two mutually offset doctor blades (11, 12) the provision of in the circumferential direction of the screen printing roll (3), both of which lie against the circumference of the screen printing roll (3) with a negative incident angle and which limit in the circumferential direction an ink chamber (13) sealed by impermeable side pieces lying against the screen printing roll (3), and by the provision in the area of the walls of the ink chamber (13), of at least one inflow aperture (19) which can be connected to an ink supply (16) in a pressure-tight manner, and of at least one overflow opening (24 or 35). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Kurzfarbwerk mit wenigstens einer als Rasterwalze (3) ausgebildeten Übertragungswalze lassen sich dadurch eine kompakte Bauweise sowie eine zuverlässige und genaue Einfärbung erreichen, daß mindestens zwei in Umfangsrichtung der Rasterwalze (3) gegeneinander versetzte Rakelblätter (11, 12) vorgesehen sind, die beide mit negativem Anstellwinkel am Umfang der Rasterwalze (3) anliegen und die eine stirnseitig durch an der Rasterwalze (3) anliegende Dichtbacken abgeschlossene Farbkammer (13) in Umfangsrichtung begrenzen und daß im Bereich der Wandungen der Farbkammer (13) mindestens eine an eine Farbquelle (16) druckdicht anschließbare Zuströmöffnung (19) und mindestens eine Überströmöffnung (24 bzw. 35) vorgesehen sind.
