Abstract (en)
It is intended to produce a flash lamp in which high radii of curvature are permissible, without overloading the walls, with a curved plasma channel so that a high illumination density is produced. To this end, the discharge space (9) is designed in annular form between the two electrodes (4, 5). The outer wall (1) forms a sealed hollow cylinder of glass. The inner walls (7, 8) consist of soft ceramic material which is hermetically fused with the glass. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Es soll eine Blitzlampe geschaffen werden, bei der bei gekrümmtem Plasmakanal hohe Krümmungsradien ohne Überlastung der Wände zulässig sind, so daß eine hohe Leuchtdichte erhalten wird. Hierzu ist der Entladungsraum (9) zwischen den beiden Elektroden (4, 5) ringförmig ausgebildet. Die Außenwand (1) bildet einen verschlossenen Hohlzylinder aus Glas. Die Innenwände (7, 8) bestehen aus weißem Keramikmaterial, welches mit dem Glas hermetisch verschmolzen ist.
