[origin: EP0278574A2] In known metering devices for liquids, the liquid is conveyed from a storage container into a metering container. The metered quantity can be set by means of a displacement body, of which the position in the metering container can be adjusted. Via a piston which can be subjected to the conveyed liquid, the conveyance can be interrupted and an outlet of the metering container opened.
