The invention relates to cladding elements (10) of the type comprising at their rear means (14, 16) for attaching to a structure (44, 46) comprising horizontal battens (44) separated by a distance less than half the height of the cladding elements (10) and onto each of which a row of cladding elements may be attached. The front of each cladding element comprises, at its lower portion, a brick-shaped pattern (22) whose height is substantially equal to half the visible half-height of the cladding element and means (24) making it possible for slidably mounting a sliding element (26), the front of which has the shape of a brick whose height is equal to the height of the brick-shaped pattern (22). <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne des éléments de bardage (10) du type comportant à leur verso des moyens d'accrochage (14, 16) sur une structure (44, 46) comportant des liteaux (44) horizontaux écartés d'une distance inférieure à la moitié de la hauteur des éléments de bardage (10) et sur chacun desquels une rangée d'éléments de bardage peuvent être accrochés. Conformément à l'invention le recto de chaque élément de bardage comporte à sa partie inférieure un motif (22) en forme de brique dont la hauteur est sensiblement égale à la moitié de la demi-hauteur visible de l'élément de bardage et des moyens (24) permettant le montage à coulissement d'un coulisseau (26) dont le recto présente la forme d'une brique dont la hauteur est égale à la hauteur du motif (22) en forme de brique.
