[origin: EP0278850A1] A range of switches is produced from standard elements, in this instance a miniature moulded case (10) comprising four terminal housings, each able to receive a connection terminal. Inside the case (10) is slidably mounted a tray (32) able to carry one or more moving contact bridges (80) cooperating with stationary contacts joined to the terminals. The stationary and moving contacts are laterally offset relative to the mid-plane of the case (10) and, through a judicious arrangement of the moving contact bridges and of the associated stationary contacts, it is possible to produce various types of two- or multi-position switches. <IMAGE>
