Reduction and brake system, especially for the operation of roller blinds, awnings, closure curtains and the like, of the type comprising a tubular element, such as a tube, on which the blind or the like is wound and which is driven by a control element, such as, especially, an electric motor, wherein a mechanical braking device (18) is interposed between the epicycloidal gear trains (15, 16) and the epicycloidal gear train (14) of the reducer, housed inside the said tubular element (10), so as to obtain an integral and compact reduction and brake assembly. <IMAGE>

Réducteur-frein, notamment pour la manoeuvre de volets roulants, stores, rideaux de fermeture et similaires, du type qui comporte un organe tubulaire, tel qu'un tube, sur lequel s'enroule le volet ou similaire et qui est entraîné par un organe de commande, tel que notamment un moteur électrique, caractérisé en ce qu'on interpose un dispositif de freinage mécanique (18) entre les trains épicycloïdaux (15, 16) et le train épicycloïdal (14) du réducteur, logé à l'intérieur dudit élément tubulaire (10), de manière à obtenir un ensemble réducteur-frein intégré et compact.
