Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0278901A2] The device for storing a security key makes an emergency key available to the person who has forgotten or lost the normal key, for example for the entrance door of his house or apartment or the key of his car. For this purpose, the active part (2) of a duplicate of the normal key is welded to one end of a watch strap (3). It is stored in a cavity (4) which is formed between the two pieces (10, 12) of the double bottom of a watch case. A ball (7), which a spring (8) pushes behind a nose (9) of the key, locks the latter in place. <IMAGE>
