[origin: WO8801189A1] A ski suitable for various types of skiing sports is composed of a central part (1), a front part (2) and a back part (3). The central part (1) is longer than the section taken by the ski binding, including the space located between the binding parts, box-shaped (with a rectangular or trapezoidal cross-section or an arched upper side) and essentially rigid. The front (2) and back (3) parts, basically elastic and resilient in the vertical direction and twistable in the longitudinal direction, have in their areas (4) adjacent to the central part (1) compensating elements (5, 16) made of soft, yet durable elastic solid materials (soft plastics, silicone rubber among others), pressure members (6, 7, 17, 19) being additionally arranged in the back (3) and/or in the front (2) parts of the ski.
