Stair railing with supports fastenable to stair steps, a handrail and strut elements connected to transverse spars. The handrail and the transverse spars are held on the supports. According to the invention, the handrail is connected to lockable joints and the transverse spars are inserted into rotatably held sleeves. The joints in the sleeves are fastened to the supports. Furthermore, the strut elements are held movably on the transverse spars. <IMAGE>

Treppengeländer mit an Treppenstufen (1) befestigbaren Stützen (2), Handlauf (3) und an Querholme (4) angeschlossenen Ausfachelementen (5). Der Handlauf (3) sowie die Querholme (4) sind an den Stützen (2) gehalten. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Handlauf (3) an arretierbare Gelenke (6) angeschlossen und sind die Querholme (4) in drehbar gehaltene Muffen (7) eingesetzt. Die Gelenke (6) sowie die Muffen (7) sind dabei an den Stützen (2) befestigt. Fernerhin sind die Ausfachelemente (5) an den Querholmen (4) beweglich gehalten.
