Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0279337A1] The shower partition has a pivoting door (2) which is attached by means of hinges (4, 6) to a compensating profile (20). The compensating profile (20) is attached by means of connection bodies (48) in a second profile rail (28) so as to be adjustable in the horizontal direction. The intention is to be able to carry out the alignment of the pivoting door in the horizontal and vertical directions in a simple manner with little production expenditure. It is proposed that the compensating profile (20) has a longitudinal groove (64), which is open facing the pivoting door (2) and has an undercut (21), for attachment of the hinge holders (12, 14). Together with the pivoting door (2), the compensating profile (20) can be aligned in the vertical direction relative to the second profile rail (28), the compensating profile (20) and/or the hinge holder (12) of the lower hinge (4) being mounted on the floor or the upper edge of a shower tray (42). <IMAGE>
