[origin: US4877213A] A conference easel is provided with upper and lower frame sections and a pair of vertical frame sections pointed together by corner members in plug-and-socket connections. The profiled sections can be of tubular and can have projecting tubular portions forming channels accommodating edges of a panel. Two legs of tripod support are slidable in the vertical frame sections while a pair of flap profiles are articulated to the upper and lower frame sections to form, respectively, a clamp for a paper pad on the easel and a tray for writing compartments.

Ce chevalet comprend un cadre constitué par un profilé présentant, vue en coupe transversale : - une partie principale tubulaire (7) prolongée latéralement par, - un appendice (8) équipé, sur l'une de ses faces orientées perpendiculairement à la partie principale, de moyens de montage d'un panneau, et - sur sa face en bout, de moyens d'articulation (9) d'un volet (22) susceptible d'occuper deux positions stables, respectivement, sensiblement dans le prolongement de l'appendice et perpendiculairement à celui-ci. Application à la réalistion d'un chevalet équipé d'un bloc de feuilles de papier.
