[origin: WO8801511A1] A pharmaceutical composition is prepared wherein biologically active conjugated interleukin-2 is dissolved in an aqueous carrier medium without the presence of a solubilizing agent. The unconjugated IL-2, which is not water soluble at pH 6-8 without such solubilizing agent, is selectively conjugated to one or more succinyl groups by reaction with succinic anhydride.

Dans la préparation d'une composition pharmaceutique, l'interleukine-2 conjuguée biologiquement active est dissoute dans un milieu porteur aqueux en l'absence d'un agent de solubilisation. L'IL-2 non conjuguée, qui n'est pas hydrosoluble à un pH compris entre 6 et 8 sans un tel agent de solubilisation, est conjuguée sélectivement avec un ou plusieurs groupes succinyle par réaction avec de l'anhydride succinique.
