Abstract (en)
A satellite wrapper, which serves for enveloping palletised goods to be packed (4) with stretch foil web, has a stationary pallet table (1) supported on a base (5) via a central bearing column (12), and an L-shaped bracket (2) which is mounted rotatably about a vertical wrapping axis (3) under the pallet table (1). A horizontal leg (20) of the bracket (2) is mounted on a four-point bearing (6) under the pallet table (1). The free end (23) of the horizontal bracket leg (20), which projects outwards radially over the pallet table (1), becomes a vertical bracket leg (22) which is guided past the pallet table on the outside and holds the foil dispensing device (7) via a raisable and lowerable carriage (8) above the pallet table. At the upper end of the vertical bracket leg (22), a pressure plate (25) is mounted freely rotatably. The mounting of the bracket (2), which revolves around the stationary goods to be packed (4), at a point close to the ground under the pallet table minimises construction size, manufacturing costs and maintenance expenditure of the satellite wrapper. <IMAGE>

Ein Satellitenwickler, der zum Umwickeln von palettisiertem Packgut (4) mit einer Streckfolienbahn dient, hat einen über eine zentrale Tragsäule (12) auf einem Fundament (5) abgestützten stationären Palettentisch (1) und einen unter dem Palettentisch (1) um eine vertikale Wickelachse (3) drehbar gelagerten, L-förmigen Ausleger (2). Ein horizontaler Schenkel (20) des Auslegers (2) ist an einem Vierpunktlager (6) unterhalb des Palettentischs (1) gelagert. Das radial über den Palettentisch (1) nach außen vorstehende freie Ende (23) des horizontalen Auslegerschenkels (20) geht in einen vertikalen Auslegerschenkel (22) über, der außen am Palettentisch vorbeigeführt ist und die Folienausgabevorrichtung (7) über einen heb- und senkbaren Schlitten (8) oberhalb des Palettentischs haltert. Am oberen Ende des vertikalen Auslegerschenkels (22) ist eine Andruckplatte (25) frei drehbar gelagert. Die Lagerung des um das stationäre Packgut (4) umlaufenden Auslegers (2) an einer bodennahen Stelle unter dem Palettentisch minimiert Baugröße, Herstellungskosten und Wartungsaufwand des Satellitenwicklers.
