[origin: EP0279873A1] A phase-shifter, suitable for use at very high radio-frequency power, consists of a waveguide (2) in which there is arranged ferromagnetic material, distributed along at least one plane extending in the wave propagation direction, which material is subject to a static magnetic field oriented parallel to the plane, the ferromagnetic material being formed such that it forms a plurality of cavities (5) which extend in the direction of the applied static magnetic field from one waveguide wall to the opposite waveguide wall (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
