[origin: EP0279916A2] A connection terminal device, in particular for inductances or transformers, has a terminal housing (7), consisting of dielectric material and provided with cut-outs (14, 15) for connecting wires, and at least one metallic terminal insert (23), inserted in the terminal housing, which is designed as a screw terminal. On a base of the terminal insert there are located two terminal limbs (30), arranged running at a distance from one another, which carry at least two blade contacts (34), pointing towards one another, by means of which at least one slot-like opening (32), open at the edges, is limited, the width of the said opening being less than the diameter of a connecting wire (35) to be retained. In addition, the terminal housing is placed on a lower part (41) of dielectric material, covering at least the terminal insert, the terminal insert being inserted into the terminal housing, sealed with a part forming a terminal body. <IMAGE>
