Prefabricated housing unit, consisting of three box-like elements (1, 2, 3), designated the base element (1), extension element (2) and roof element (3), each having the geometric shape of a right-angled column which lacks two adjacent longitudinal walls. The extension element (2) and roof element (3) are both attached to the base element (1) on hinges along a longitudinal edge (201, 101), in such a way that they may be folded away (F2) from the base element (1) or folded to meet it. On the one hand, therefore, a fully habitable structure of maximal volume can be produced, in which the base element (1) and extension element (2) come to lie adjacent to each other, whilst the roof element (3) covers them both. On the other hand, an easily transportable structure of minimal volume can be produced, in which the extension element (2) and roof element (3) are folded in turn to meet the base element (1), the dimensions of which represent the total size of the folded structure.

Vorgefertigte Woheinheit, charakterisiert durch die Tatsache, daß sie aus drei schachtelartigen Elementen (1, 2, 3) besteht, benannt Basiselement (1), Erweiterungselement (2) und Dachelement (3), die jedes die geometrische Form einer rechteckigen Säule haben, der zwei aneinanderliegende Wände der Längsseiten fehlen. Das Erweiterungselement (2) und das Dachelement (3) sind jeweils an einer Längskante (201, 101) mit dem Basiselement (1) mit Scharnieren verbunden in der Weise, daß sie von dem Basiselement (1) weggeklappt (F2) oder an dieses herangeklappt werden können. So entsteht einmal ein Körper mit einem maximalen Volumen, vollständig bewohnbar, bei dem Basiselement (1) und Erweiterungselement (2) nebeneinander zu liegen kommen, während das Dachelement (3) beide abdeckt. Das andere Mal entsteht ein Körper mit einem minimalen Volumen, leicht transportabel, bei dem Erweiterungselement (2) und Dachelement (3) nacheinander an das Basiselement (1) herangeklappt werden, welches in dem Falle mit seiner Dimension die Gesamtgröße des geschlossenen Körpers darstellt.
