Safety shoe which has a shoe shell (S) injection-moulded from plastic and, in the front part (1) of the shoe shell (S) a steel cap (4). In the front part (1) of the shoe shell (S), the shoe shell bottom (2) has on the inside a channel-like indentation running along its transition into the shoe shell wall. An edge (4.1), widened in the manner of a flange, of the steel cap (4), which is inserted into the shoe shell (S) subsequently, is received in the indentation. <IMAGE>

Sicherheitsschuh, der einen aus Kunststoff spritzgegossenen Schalenschuh (S) und im Vorderteil (1) des Schalenschuhs (S) eine Stahlkappe (4) aufweist. Im Vorderteil (1) des Schalenschuhs (S) weist der Schalenschuhboden (2) innen eine entlang seines Übergangs in die Schalenschuhwandung verlaufende, rinnenartige Vertiefung auf. Ein flanschartig verbreiterter Rand (4.1) der nachträglich in den Schalenschuh (S) eingesetzten Stahlkappe (4) ist in der Vertiefung aufgenommen.
