[origin: US4853998A] The present invention relates to a system for spreading and depositing a spanning beam from a vehicle wherein, in the transport position of the spanning beam on the vehicle, the outer extreme element of the spanning beam is pivotally supported and maintained at its free end by a mobile support device of the vehicle occupying a raised position while the inner extreme element of the spanning beam rests on the outer extreme element along same and wherein the spanning beam can be raised by winding of the working cable on a winch of the vehicle into a position where the inner extreme element is pivotally supported at its free end by the support device with concomitant release of the free end of the outer extreme element from the device.

La présente invention concerne un système de déploiement et de dépose d'une travure à partir d'un véhicule. Le système est caractérisé en ce qu'à la position de transport de la travure (3) sur le véhicule (1), l'élément extrême externe (3a) de la travure (3) est supporté et maintenu de façon pivotante à son extrémité libre par un dispositif de support mobile (2) du véhicule (1) occupant une position relevée tandis que l'élément extrême interne (3a) de la travure (3) repose sur l'élément extrême externe (3b) le long de celui-ci et en ce que la travure (3) est relevable par enroulement du câble de manoeuvre (5) sur un treuil du véhicule en une position où l'élément extrême interne (3a) est supporté de façon pivotante à son extrémité libre par le dispositif de support (2) avec libération concomittante de l'extrémité libre de l'élément extrême externe (3b) du dispositif (2). La présente invention trouve application dans le domaine du génie militaire.
