[origin: EP0280858A2] The paper punch according to the invention has a device which enables the pressure lever (2) to act only on one of the pressure punches (4). For this purpose a pressure member (5) is arranged in a cutout of the pressure lever (2) so as to be displaceable counter to the restoring force of a spring (8). The pressure member (5) has a lug (6) which, in the position of rest of the pressure member (5), bears with one shoulder (7) against the underside of the pressure lever and with the end face lying opposite this shoulder (7) acts on the hole punch (4). On actuation of only one hole punch (4), the pressure member (5) is displaced, shortly before pivoting into its inactive position, and firmly held there until, on raising the pressure lever (2), it passes into its active position again under the action of the spring (8). <IMAGE>
