In the dispensing unit for currency notes, comprising a box-shaped currency-note container (14) and a frame-shaped receiving module (12), into which the currency-note container (14) can be pushed and which has a draw-off and separating device (22, 26) for drawing off currency notes through an orifice (24) of the currency-note container (14), the orifice of the currency-note container (14) can be closed by means of a folding flap (42). This comprises a first flap part (44), articulated pivotably about a first axis (46) on the currency-note container (14), and a second flap part (48) which is articulated pivotably on the first flap part (44) about a second axis (50) parallel to the first axis (46), the two flap parts (44, 48) respectively being pivotable in opposite directions to one another during opening and closing. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Ausgabeeinheit für Wertscheine, umfassend einen kastenförmigen Wertscheinbehälter (14) und einen rahmenförmigen Aufnahmemodul (12), in den der Wertscheinbehälter (14) einschiebbar ist und der eine Abzugs- und Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (22, 26) zum Abzug von Wertscheinen durch eine Öffnung (24) des Wertscheinbehälters (14) aufweist, ist die Öffnung des Wertscheinbehälters (14) durch eine Faltklappe (42) verschließbar. Diese umfaßt ein um eine erste Achse (46) schwenkbar am Wertscheinbehälter (14) angelenktes erstes Klappenteil (44) und ein zweites Klappenteil (48),das an dem ersten Klappenteil (44) um eine zur ersten Achse (46) parallele zweite Achse (50) schwenkbar angelenkt ist, wobei die beiden Klappenteile (44, 48) beim Öffnen und Schließen jeweils gegenläufig zueinander verschwenkbar sind.
