1. Jigger for treatment of a textile web, with a housing, with two mutually parallel winding spools arranged in the housing, between which the web of material can be wound reversibly back and forth, and with an application device by means of which a quantity of liquor metered per unit of surface area of the web can be applied uniformly over the surface between the winding spools, onto the web of material which runs within the lower part of the jigger above the level of the liquor, characterised in that the application device (15) is fed from a separate reservoir container (20) which is constructed to receive the entire quantity of liquor necessary for at least one passage of the web of material (9).
