A central shaft (16) is rotatably mounted, about the axis (5) of the tube to be bent (4), in a body (14) which cannot rotate. Control means (17,19,20) make it possible to change the angular position of the shaft (16), the front part (18) of which supports bending tools (26,27) placed in front of the body (14) so as to change the orientation of the bending plane.
