CONSTITUTION: When a print head 4 is replaced against a mechanical guide member 6 and an electric socket 7, the lock elements 14, 15 of a color tape guide member 8 is located outside the flange 4b of the print head 4, and a color tape 5 is separated from the front part 4a of the print head 4 through the color tape guide member 8. Next, when replacing the color tape 5, the color tape guide member 8 is positioned above the flange 4b to fully stretch the color tape 5, and under this tate, the color tape 5 is replaced. Bei einem Drucker, insbesondere einem Matrixdrucker, mit einer vor einem Druckwiderlager parallel verlaufenden Schlittenführung für einen Druckkopfschlitten (3), der einen Druckkopf (4) trägt und mit einer auf dem Druckkopfschlitten (3) angeordneten Farbbandführung (8) kann der Druckkopf (4) auch durch das Bedienungspersonal ausgewechselt werden, indem der auf dem Druckkopfschlitten (3) lösbare und wieder einsteckbare Druckkopf (4) in einer mechanischen Führung (6) und mittels einer elektrischen Steckverbindung (7) auswechselbar ist und indem zumindest eine auf dem Druckkopfschlitten (3) angeordnete schwenkbare Farbbandführung (8) als Verriegelung (9) für den eingesteckten Druckkopf (4) auf dem Druckkopfschlitten (3) dient.
