[origin: WO8801934A1] In a method for producing cellular plastic with closed cells, and containing polyvinylchloride, a chemical blowing agent, a stabilizer, and possibly other process controlling substances and additives, the plastic mixture is treated mechanically in a plastic treating machine, and is fed to this phase of treatment at a well gelatinized state with a chemical blowing agent which was finely distributed in the plastic mixture in connection with gelatinization, but is not decomposed/vaporized, or only decomposed/vaporized to a negligible extend. The plastic mixture is treated mechanically in the plastic treating machine at a temperature above the decomposition/vaporizing temperature of the blowing agent so that the latter is decomposed/vaporized while treatment occurs, at a pressure above the internal pressure of expansion in the decomposed/vaporized blowing agent, the plastic mixture after decomposition/vaporizing of the blowing agent being made to expand to the desired shape by reduction of the external pressure.

Un procédé permet de produire une matière plastique cellulaire à cellules fermées contenant du chlorure de polyvinyle, un agent gonflant chimique, un stabilisateur, et éventuellement d'autres substances et additifs de commande du processus. Le mélange plastique est traité mécaniquement dans une machine de traitement de matières plastiques, ayant été introduit dans cette phase de traitement dans un état de gélatinisation avancé et mélangé à un agent gonflant chimique finement distribué dans le mélange plastique lors de sa gélatinisation mais non décomposé/évaporé, ou décomposé/évaporé dans une mesure négligeable. Le mélange plastique est mécaniquement traité dans la machine de traitement de matières plastiques à une température supérieure à la température de décomposition/évaporation de l'agent gonflant, de sorte que celui-ci se décompose/s'évapore pendant le traitement, et à une pression supérieure à la pression intérieure d'expansion de l'agent gonflant décomposé/évaporé, de sorte que l'on puisse provoquer l'expansion du mélange plastique jusqu'à la forme voulue, après la décomposition/évaporation de l'agent gonflant, en réduisant la pression extérieure.
