Abstract (en)
A hydraulic compensating element (play compensating element in the valve gear of an internal-combustion engine or a tension compensating element on an endless belt drive) has a constant sink rate irrespective of the temperature or viscosity of the hydraulic medium. For this purpose, the hydraulic chamber (4) has a leakage opening (11), whose cross-section can be varied by a control body (12). In this arrangement, the thermal coefficient of expansion of the control body (12) is significantly higher than that of the compensating element. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein hydraulisches Ausgleichselement (Spiel-Ausgleichselement im Ventiltrieb einer Brennkraftmaschine oder Spann-Ausgleichselement an einem endlosen Riementrieb) weist eine von der Temperatur bzw. Viskosität des Hydraulikmediums unabhängige konstante Absinkrate auf. Dazu weist der Hydraulikraum (4) eine Leckageöffnung (11) auf, deren Querschnitt unter Einfluß eines Regelkörpers (12) veränderbar ist. Dabei ist der Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient des Regelkörpers (12) wesentlich höher als derjenige des Ausgleichselementes.
