Anchoring device fitted with means for installing working platforms and/or posts etc., consisting of a mounting (2) intended to be positioned substantially horizontally relative to the rafter (1), which mounting is in two parts : - a suspended part (2_a) having means for accommodating working platforms, posts etc. ; - a part (2_b) in the extension of the part (2_a) in the form of a frame intended to clasp the rafter and having means, in the form of clamping blocks (5 and 6), one of which, situated at the end of the mounting (2), is in contact with the underneath of the rafter and the other of which, situated substantially at the centre of the mounting (2), is in contact with the top of the said rafter, which blocks (5 and 6) are situated substantially in a same plane close to the horizontal when the device is positioned on the rafter, characterized in that the part (2_b) in the form of a frame has a detachable lateral side (9) corresponding to one flank of the rafter (1) in order to enable the device, and in particular the clamping blocks (5 and 6), to be positioned on either side of the said rafter.
