[origin: EP0282648A2] A device for processing organic tissues to produce sausage meat, granules etc. by comminuting and/or mixing by means of a cutter using a liquefied gas at very low temperatures. The cutter can be covered by a lid 7 which is connected by a lifting device 9 to a horizontal rotary shaft 10. To extract cold used gas from the cutter, it is proposed to mount a tube 11 securely on the rotary shaft 10 in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 10. The tube 11 opens into an opening 12 of a stationary box 13. A connecting pipe 14 connects an opening 8 in the lid to a lateral opening 15 in the tube.
