A heat generator has, in addition to a main pipe (2) which conducts a fuel/air mixture of regulated composition, an alternatively connectable and disconnectable secondary pipe (21) with an associated fuel pipe. There is a requirement for a simply designed and reliable valve arrangement for connecting or disconnecting the secondary pipe and associated fuel pipe. The secondary pipe (21) and the fuel pipe open next to one another into the main pipe (2), preferably in the region of a chamber (31), and the mouths (38, 46) of both pipes are assigned a common slider (51) which can alternatively be brought into a position simultaneously opening or closing the two mouths. <IMAGE>

Ein Wärmeerzeuger weist zusätzlich zu einer ein Brennstoff/Luft-Gemisch geregelter Zusammensetzung führenden Hauptleitung (2) eine wahlweise zu- und abschaltbare Nebenleitung (21) mit einer zugeordneten Brennstoffleitung auf. Es besteht ein Bedarf an einer einfach ausgebildeten und zuverlässigen Ventilanordnung zum Zuschalten bzw. Abschalten von Nebenleitung und zugeordneter Brennstoffleitung. Die Nebenleitung (21) und die Brennstoffleitung münden nebeneinander in die Hauptleitung (2), vorzugsweise im Bereich einer Kammer (31), und es ist den Mündungen (38, 46) der beiden Leitungen ein gemeinsamer Schieber (51) zugeordnet, der wahlweise in eine die beiden Mündungen gleichzeitig freigebende oder abdeckende Stellung bringbar ist.
