[origin: EP0282809A2] The invention relates to a mounting for the fastening or bedding of frameless glass panes (25,26). The mounting comprises clamping plates (1) which clamp in the glass pane (25,26) and are held together with the aid of screws (6,7) which pass through bores (9) made in the glass pane (25,26), and a connection part which allows positive and/or non- positive connection with the adjacent glass pane or with the adjacent construction part. The connection part consists of a sheet metal tab (2) which is fitted as a separate construction part between one surface of the glass pane and the clamping plate (1) assigned to this surface. The part of the sheet metal tab (2) which permits connection with the adjacent construction part extends over the assigned clamping plate (1) parallel to the surface of the glass pane or at an angle thereto. <IMAGE>
