[origin: US4854019A] An apparatus for texturizing endless filament threads comprises a thread infeed portion, a treatment portion and a crimping portion. The crimping portion is structured as a so-called slotted nozzle provided with lamellae arranged in a star-shaped array. The lamellae are insertably held at their upper ends and at extensions provided at their lower ends in substantially half-circular-shaped insert members provided with slots. The upper insert members are firmly received in a separable connector element and the lower insert members in a separable mouth portion. Furthermore, in accordance with the invention, the insert members possess cleaning grooves which in the opened condition, i.e. the separated condition of the connector element or mouth portion, as the case may be, can be cleaned, for example by utilization of compressed or pressure air, to enable removal of dirt or other contaminants from the slot base of the insert members.

Eine Vorrichtung zum Texturieren von Endlosfilament-Fäden umfasst einen Fadeneinführungsteil (2), einen Behandlungsteil (4) sowie einen Kräuselteil (8). Der Kräuselteil (8) ist als sogenannte Schlitzdüse mit Lamellen (10,110) versehen, welche, wie in Fig. 2 gezeigt, sternförmig angeordnet sind. Dabei sind die Lamellen (10) mit ihrem oberen Ende (24) sowie mit einem am unteren Ende vorgesehenen Fortsatz (15) in mit Schlitzen versehenen halbkreisförmigen Einsätzen steckbar befestigt, wobei die oberen Einsätze fest in einem teilbaren Verbindungselement (13) und die unteren Einsätze in einem teilbaren Mündungsteil (16) aufgenommen sind. Ausserdem weisen die Einsätze erfindungsgemässe Reinigungsschächte (50 resp. 51) auf, welche im geöffneten, d.h. geteilten Zustand des Verbindungselementes (13) resp. Mündungsteiles (16) mittels z.B. Pressluft spülbar sind, um Schmutz aus dem Schlitzgrund entfernen zu können.
