Several objects (10) to be decorated are placed on a table (12), on the surface (14) of which channels (16) open out, which can be connected to a source of negative pressure. Placed on the objects (10) is a bearing film (20) which is printed with a structure (22) on its underside. Placed on top of the latter is a covering film (24) which is sealed off against the edge (18) of the table (12). Then the space (28) which is bounded by the table (12) and the covering film (24) and contains the objects (10) and the bearing film (20) is evacuated. By this means, the covering film (24) is pressed against the bearing film (20) and the latter is pressed onto the objects (10) and heated until the structure (22) has passed onto the objects (10). <IMAGE>

Mehrere zu dekorierende Gegenstände (10) werden auf einen Tisch (12) aufgelegt, an dessen Oberfläche (14) Kanäle (16) münden, die an eine Vakuumquelle anschließbar sind. Auf die Gegenstände (10) wird eine Trägerfolie (20) aufgelegt, die an ihrer Unterseite mit einem Dekor (22) bedruckt ist. Darüber wird eine Deckfolie (24) gelegt, die gegen den Rand (18) des Tisches (12) abdichtet. Sodann wird der vom Tisch (12) und der Deckfolie (24) begrenzte, die Gegenstände (10) und die Trägerfolie (20) enthaltende Raum (28) evakuiert. Dadurch wird die Deckfolie (24) gegen die Trägerfolie (20) gedrückt und diese an die Gegenstände (10) solange angepreßt und erhitzt, bis das Dekor (22) auf die Gegenstände (10) übergegangen ist.
