The invention relates to a temperature sensitive actuating element for switches used for temperature control, monitoring and limiting in domestic electrical apparatuses and other apparatuses with electrical heating elements, in which the overall system of the individual elements, consisting of an insertion opening (2) for the capillary tube (7), a slot (5), trough-like depressions (3) and a plastic or plastic film membrane (6) is an integral component of a plastic injection part (1) which itself is used as a grip or housing part, as a result of which the installed height of the actuating element is significantly reduced and more economical production is ensured with a low wastage rate. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein temperaturabhängiges Betätigungselement für Schalter zur Temperaturregelung, - überwachung und -begrenzung bei elektrischen Haushaltsgeräten sowie anderen Geräten mit elektrischen Heizelementen, bei denen das Gesamtsystem der einzelnen Elemente, bestehend aus Einführungsöffnung (2) für das Kapillarrohr (7), Nut (5), muldenartigen Vertiefungen (3) sowie Plast- bzw. Plastfolienmembran (6) integraler Bestandteil eines Plastspritzteiles (1) ist, welches selbst als Griff- oder Gehäuseteil dient, wodurch sowohl die Bauhöhe des Betätigungselementes wesentlich verringert wird als auch eine rationellere Herstellung mit einer geringen Ausschußquote gewährleistet wird.
