A reinforcing insert (9), extending over the folding box, projects with attachments (13, 14, 15) into the skids (5, 6) in such a way that tabs (35, 36, 42), attached to bottom flaps (29, 38, 40, 41), rest on vertically upright portions of the attachments (13, 14, 15) and that the skids (5, 6) are formed by cartons (43) which are open at the top, are inverted over the attachments (13, 14, 15) and the tabs (35, 36, 42) resting on them and are connected to the bottom via their upper edge (51). The folding box serves as a pallet and as a spacer from the floor, on which pallet the goods are accommodated for the purpose of sale and of transport in their own packagings which are suitable for direct sale. <IMAGE>
