The detachable connector (1) has open end faces and an axial hollow space (16) which passes through axially, so that the detachable connector (1) is filled with drying agent (15) inside the hollow profiles (11,12). The detachable connector (1) is preferably of U-shaped design and arranged in the hollow profiles (11,12) in such a manner that its smooth central web (6) lies flat against the hollow profile wall (19) facing the inside of the frame. The detachable connector (1) is guided positively into the hollow profiles (11,12) and is fixed by means of retaining lugs (10) which are cut freely in the form of a tongue and are bent away in two directions. <IMAGE>
