The cigarette substitute (1) is provided with a mouth end or mouthpiece (2) and a rod-shaped combustible part (3) attached thereto, and additionally has a reservoir (4) for aroma and/or flavour substances which can be gradually absorbed by the smoker together with the aspirated gas. The reservoir (4) is arranged downstream of the combustible part (3) in the direction of flow, and the combustible part (3) consists of substances which, on combustion, break down into carbon dioxide, with or without water vapour, these being substances which are entirely non-injurious to health. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Ersatzzigarette (1) ist mit einem Mundabschluß oder Mundstück (2) und einem daran angebrachten stabförmigen brennbaren Teil (3) versehen und hat außerdem ein Reservoir (4) für Duft- und/oder Geschmacksstoffe, die von dem Raucher mit dem eingesaugten Gas nach und nach aufgenommen werden können. Das Reservoir (4) ist dabei in Strömungsrichtung hinter dem brennbaren Teil (3) angeordnet und der brennbare Teil (3) besteht aus solchen Substanzen, die beim Verbrennen in Kohlendioxyd und ggf. zusätzlich in Wasserdampf, als gesundheitlich völlig unschädliche Stoffe zerfallen.
