The operating characteristics are to be improved in a device, in which the internal pressure of a ball (3) is corrected in that the ball (3) is penetrated by an essentially upwardly directed hollow needle (15), through which gas (17) and sealant (18, 19) can be introduced. An even more reliable sealing of the treated balls is also to be achieved. For this purpose, provision is made for a blocking device (40) for manual or self-acting blocking of the return flow of sealant to be arranged in the direction of flow just before the essentially upwardly directed hollow needle (15). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Verbessern des Spielverhaltens von Hohlraumbällen, bei der der Innendruck eines Balles (3) dadurch korrigiert wird, daß in den Ball (3) eine Kanüle (15) im wesentlichen aufwärts gerichtet eindringt, durch die Gas (17) und Dichtungsmittel (18, 19) eingeführt werden kann, soll das Betriebsverhalten verbessert werden. Auch soll eine noch zuverlässigere Abdichtung der behandelten Bälle erreicht werden. Zu diesem Zweck ist vorgesehen, daß in Strömungsrichtung dicht vor der im wesentlichen aufwärts gerichteten Kanüle (15) eine Sperreinrichtung (40) zur manuellen oder selbsttätigen Sperrung des Rückflusses von Dichtungsmittel angeordnet ist.
