[origin: EP0284494A1] The device comprises a substantially plane plate (3) placed between two pieces (1,2) to be assembled and comprising an array of cylindrical rings (4) having circular cross-section, extending on either side of its plane, distributed so as to prevent horizontal and vertical shearing of the pieces (1,2) and being inserted, in the assembly position, into the conjugate-shaped recesses (5) provided over the faces (6,7) of the said pieces (1,2) to be assembled. A set of bolts (8), the number of which is less than the number of rings (4) of the plate (3), pass through the said pieces (1,2) to be assembled and the plate (3), preferably in holes (9) which are concentric with at least some of the rings (4).
