[origin: US4883047A] A massage tool has two parallel rollers mounted for free rotation in a manually operated housing, which is connected to a suitable vacuum source to create a vacuum in the space above the rollers. The two active rollers are mounted at a fixed distance between axes, the rollers being supported between two parallel walls at the lower or distal part of the housing. The walls define a chamber which is substantially the same height as the diameter of the rollers. The latter form a tangent substantially at a roof of the chamber, but there is a small clearance-a few hundredths of a millimeter-to permit rotation. The rollers project slightly beyond the lower or distal ends of the walls. The vacuum conduit is flared out somewhat at the roof of the chamber to spread evenly over the area between the rollers.

Appareil de massage comportant, montés à l'intérieur d'un boitier (1) actionnable manuellement, deux rouleaux parallèles (3,4) montés libres en rotation, ledit boitier (1) étant relié à des moyens permettant de créer une dépression au dessus des rouleaux (3,4). Il se caractérise en ce que : - les deux rouleaux actifs (3,4) sont montés à entraxe fixe entre deux parois parallèles (6,7) prévues à la partie inférieure du boitier (1), ces deux parois (6,7) définissant une chambre (5) dont la hauteur est telle qu'elle correspond sensiblement au diamètre des rouleaux (3,4), de telle sorte que ces derniers viennent tangenter avec le fond (13) de cette chambre, un léger jeu subsistant pour permettre leur rotation et, de préférence débordent légèrement par rapport aux bords inférieurs (14,15) desdites parois (6,7) ; - la dépression exercée à l'intérieur du boitier (1) est obtenue par l'intermédiaire d'un conduit (15) débouchant dans l'espace compris entre les rouleaux (3,4).
